The Process

Here at Five Digits we believe in working smarter not harder. We like to make things as simple as possible for you the client. Our submittal process is simple. You can fill out a service request form or you can contact us to discuss your specific needs. Below is a detailed description of how projects generally work, without giving away all of the magical secrets. Keep in mind that any photos, video or music that you send to us, we will return in the same condition.

1. Complete a service request form or contact us regarding your project.
2. Send all of your photos, videos and or music to our address listed in the contact us section. If you live near the Queen Creek, AZ area we can arrange for a drop-off or delivery method to save the cost of shipping.
3. Once received we will scan all paper photos; duplicate all digital photos into our system; import all video into our system for editing; duplicate all music into our system.
4. This step is where the magic happens. With our experienced eyes we will poor over each photo and every moment of your videos. We will meld the two together capturing the essence of the moment. Adding music to the experience is always a nice touch. This process is called storyboarding.
5. Once we have a storyboard in place we will begin the editing process. Using broadcast quality software we will edit your video into a show piece.
6. This next step is called rendering. Basically it is the process of creating a DVD quality video file from the steps above.
7. Next we will create a unique DVD menu to make finding sections of your movie easy to find.
8. Now that we have a completed project we will burn the video file to DVD for you play in your home.
9. Last but not least we will create a DVD cover and case design. You will be proud to display this DVD cover art with the rest of your collection.
